Salary: £50K to £75k dependent on experience

Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel to Bristol and London.

About us

ISM Fantasy Games are looking for two talented developers to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

We’re a world leader in delivering fantasy sports games for our global partners including the Premier League, NBA and Saudi Pro League. With over 10 million players, our flagship Fantasy Premier League product is the biggest fantasy football game in the world!

ISM are a friendly and dynamic team where you will have the opportunity to work with other talented developers, further your development skills and utilise modern technologies.

We predominantly work remotely, but regularly meet up in person to plan and brainstorm new ideas, workshop new features and engage in hackathons.

The successful candidates will join our development team to help shape our Premier League fantasy game products for the enjoyment of fantasy football fans worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll work closely with other team members to develop and improve our fantasy football products for the Premier League.
  • On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with front-end developers to deliver new and exciting game features.
  • You’ll showcase a high attention to detail, while writing well tested, readable, and maintainable code.
  • You’ll partake in peer code reviews to ensure all developers maintain a high standard of code quality.
  • You’ll help brainstorm new ideas and take an active role in enhancing the experience for our game players.
  • You’ll follow an agile Scrum methodology, taking an active part in daily stand-up, sprint planning and retrospective meetings.

Required skills

  • Strong Python skills
  • 2+ years experience developing high-volume, high-performance Python web applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • FastAPI / Pydantic to develop smaller services which complement our main Django application
